Here at Stapleford Primary School we have been involved with a wide range of art projects. Please see a see the examples below and the attachments for more information on these.

Year 6 Forest of Imagination day

Year 6 took part in the ‘Forest of imagination’ project with Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination.

Japan Week

As a school, we took part in creating artwork for an art display at Stapleford Granary. We all took our  inspiration from Japan and took the opportunity to find out more about this fascinating country. We also hold in school art/DT week’s each year.

Christmas trees

We held a Christmas tree competition for the whole school. Each class designed and collaboratively built a tree for the moat. The art council helped to select the winners. It was a very hard choice!

Plays and performances

As a school we are committed to ensuring all children have opportunities to see live performances of music, drama and dance, as well as participating in this themselves. Included below are some photos of trips to the theatre, performers in school and school performances such as the Nativity and end of year plays.

Cows about Cambridge

We all enjoyed our ‘Cow Week’ in celebration of the Cows about Cambridge project we have been working on.

 

Inspire 2020 with the Fitzwilliam Museum

We took part in Inspire 2020 as part of a project led by the Fitzwilliam Museum. Please see our contribution to this in the document attached below.

Trips

We offer a large range of trips that include: Harry Potter Studios, Duxford Air Museum, Grafham Water and West Stow. We also encourage visitors and arts specialists into school. Please see our enrichment provision document for more detail.
