School Uniform Policy
Our Approach and Policy
At Stapleford Community Primary School, we encourage children to wear their school uniform with pride. Our uniform helps children feel part of our school community and ready to learn.
We want our uniform to be practical, affordable and accessible to every family. Branded uniform is optional and families are welcome to purchase plain alternatives from supermarkets, high-street shops or other retailers.
Buying school uniform
Branded Stapleford uniform is available from Price & Buckland.
Purchasing branded uniform is entirely optional. Families do not need to purchase uniform carrying the school logo.
Second-hand uniform
Good-quality second-hand uniform is regularly available through our PTA second-hand uniform sales. Families can also contact the school office at any time to ask about available second-hand uniform.
Help with uniform costs
We never want the cost of uniform to be a barrier for a child or family. If purchasing uniform is difficult, please contact us in confidence. We will always do what we can to support families, including providing good-quality uniform where available.
Equality and individual needs
We want our uniform arrangements to be inclusive and appropriate for all children. We will consider reasonable adjustments where appropriate, including for additional needs, disability, medical needs, religion or other individual circumstances.
Uniform enquiries
Please contact the school office if you have any questions about uniform, would like to access second-hand uniform or need support with uniform costs.
