A warm welcome to Stapleford Nursery…

Stapleford Nursery is a newly established and newly refurbished part of Stapleford School. Since opening in 2019 we have strived to provide a warm, inviting and inclusive environment for children aged 3-4 years old. 

Within our day to day running’s we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, which you can learn more about by looking at our curriculum or through our topic webs. Within our daily routine we encourage learning through play, following children’s interests, but also making the most of the fact that we have close encounters with the Reception class and can make the transition from Nursery to school a smooth and enjoyable experience for every child. Within our weekly routine we implement PE sessions in the school hall, as well as outdoor learning sessions in our on-site moat. Both of these activities are something which they will then be comfortable and confident with doing once they transition to Reception.

At Stapleford Nursery it is of paramount importance to work closely with parents and carers. We use Tapestry as a way of creating links between Nursery and home so you can see wow moments of your child at Nursery, as well as you being able to share wow moments from home with us too.
