Residential Trips
Year 5
Year 5 visit Burwell House for a one night residential. Burwell House has been providing learning outside the classroom experiences for over 50 years. The grand, beautifully decorated house provides a family feel, which is the perfect setting for what may be the children’s first stay away from home. The extensive gardens provide copious opportunities for activities outside, including an obstacle course named ‘The Burwell Challenge’. During their visit, the children use Burwell’s professionally equipped TV studio to plan and produce a television programme, as well as use the craft studio to create enamel keyrings.
Year 6
Each year, year 6 pupils head to Grafham water for their two night residential. During their time there they take part in numerous team building sports and adventurous activities. This is a great opportunity for children to challenge themselves outside of the classroom, and to become a team, which sets them up for life. Activities can include high ropes, canoeing / kayaking, raft building or paddle boarding, cycle ride and the Grafham challenge.
